SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – Khushboo Thiagaraj moved up nine spots after shooing a 1-over (72) in the second round as the Radford women's golf team maintained its sixth place position following the second round of action at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Highlands Course at Sevierville Golf Club.
The Highlanders finished 17 strokes better as a team than in the first day of play. Thiagaraj led the Highlanders with a 1-over (72), which propelled her nine spots. She now sits with an 11-over for the tournament.
Morgan Cox moved up a few spots after carding an 8-over (79) in round two, which is four strokes better than her opening round. Meagan Board fell to 27th after shooting an 11-over in day two.
Olivia Jay stayed tied for 37th, but cut five strokes off her day one performance. She finished round two with a 13-over (84). Kasidy Beckel rounds out the players in 42nd with a 14-over (85), but finished nine strokes better than she did on Sunday.
