TAYLOR COLLECTS WIN; RADFORD FALLS 6-1 AT WINTHROP

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Samuel Taylor picked up his second Big South win of the season in No. 5 singles, defeating Winthrop's Aditya Gokhale in a thrilling 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-5) as Radford dropped a 6-1 decision, Tuesday afternoon.

Taylor's win was his third on the season, while joining Janken Thoen as the only other Highlander with wins in Big South matches this season. Thoen joined Taylor as the other Highlander to win a set on the day as the junior dropped a 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 decision in No. 6 singles.

In doubles play, Alexandros Caldwell and Robin Calais picked up a 6-4 win in No. 2 doubles.

Radford returns on Thursday, hosting the Highlanders of UC Riverside at 3 p.m.
