MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO GONZAGA, 7-0

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Radford men's tennis team fell to Gonzaga, 7-0, at the Stevens Center on Thursday night, in the second to last spring break match.

Gonzaga began the day with a No. 3 doubles win, but Samuel Taylor and Janken Thoen forced the No.1 doubles matchup to decide the point with a 6-3 win. Radford fell in the final doubles matchup as Rodrigo Magalhaes and Alexandros Caldwell fell to Ruadhan O'Sullivan and Sam Feit, 6-3.

In singles competition, Matko Varga and Thoen fell 6-1, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-0, respectively in the first two matches to finish. Kyle Everyly and Emilio Moreno defeated Taylor and Sala in the next two matches that finished. The Highlanders finished the day strong as Magalhaes and Caldwell lost two tough matches. Magalhaes fell 7-6, (7-5) 7-5 to No. 1 O'Sullivan and Caldwell fell 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) to No. 2 Vincent Rettke.
