MAGALHAES PICKS UP WIN; RADFORD FALLS 6-1 AT CAMPBELL

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Rodrigo Magalhaes provided the only Radford win on the day as the Highlanders fell to Campbell 6-1, Saturday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell opened the match with six straight points, before Magalhaes collected a 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5) win over Gerard Sola in No. 2 singles. The win improves the freshman to 3-9 on the season and 1-3 in Big South play.

Alexandros Caldwell and Robin Calais played three-set matches. Caldwell fell 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 in No. 1 singles, while Calais dropped a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) match in No. 4 singles.

Radford returns to action on Sunday at 1 p.m., hosting former Big South foe UNC Greensboro.
