BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Radford's recent success over Campbell shined bright in the late innings as the Highlanders plated six runs in the final two innings for an 8-5 victory to clinch its fourth straight series over the Fighting Camels.

The Highlanders continued their dominance of the Fighting Camels on the road as the win marked the seventh in a row. Radford has not lost a series to Campbell since 2012.

Trailing 5-2 after seven complete, Radford's offense broke out for four runs on two hits and two Campbell throwing errors in the eighth.

Kyle Butler and Danny Hrbek put two runners on base to start the inning with a walk and hit by pitch respectively. Campbell went to its bullpen with a 2-0 count on Jonathan Gonzalez, Wyatt Tyson came on in relief of Allan Winans.

Gonzalez greet Tyson with a single through the right side to load the bases with no outs. Spencer Horwitz ripped a first pitch single to right field, plating Butler for the first run since the sixth inning. Matt Roth came through with a RBI fielders' choice, putting runners on the corners with one out.

Pinch hitter Cody Schneider laid down a bunt in front of the mound for a sacrifice bunt to score Gonzalez. An errant throw by Tyson to first base allowed Schneider to advance to second base, while Roth hustled all the way around from first to give Radford a 6-5 comeback lead.

Following a four-run by Campbell in the fifth, Evan Threehouse was strong in relief, holding the Fighting Camels to only three hits in three innings of relief. The freshman punched out a season-high four batters, putting himself in line for the win after the Radford four-run eighth.

Kyle Zurak came out of bullpen for the six-out save and needed only seven pitches to record three outs in the eighth.

Commanding a one-run lead, Radford looked for insurance runs in the final frame as Luke Wise led off the inning with a perfectly placed bunt down the third base line. After several throws over by Tyson, Wise swiped second base for his second steal on the day.

Standing in the batter's box with a 1-2 count, Butler was called upon for a sac bunt, putting the bunt in front of Tyson on the mound. Campbell's third error on a sac bunt allowed Wise to round third for the seventh run of the game, while Butler trotted into second.

The eighth and final run of the game came as Hrbek lined a 0-1 pitch up the middle to score Butler from second base, giving Radford an 8-5 lead.

Zurak allowed a single and nothing else in the ninth to collect his second save in as many days, giving the senior five on the season.
