MEN’S GOLF FINISHES SIX-UNDER AT JANNEY SHOOTOUT; CREIGHTON SHOOTS NINE-UNDER

RICHMOND, Va. – The Radford men's golf team finished the Janney Invitational six-under and in sixth place on Monday.

The Highlanders shot nine strokes better than in round two with Myles Creighton leading the charge. He birdied five of the front nine and two in the back nine for a six-under on the day, but nine-under for the whole tournament.

His play led him to a tie for second place in the individual leaderboard. He was one of three players to finish tied for second as the leader Oliver Whatley from Rutgers was only playing as an individual.

Creighton's play helped his team finish six-under (860) in front of four other teams within the state of Virginia. West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Maryland finished in the top three.

Hunter Duncan finished three-under after shooting one-under in the final day. He was tied for 16^th at the end of the tournament. Ben Ramsey finished two-over and tied for 28^th. They combined for six birdies.

Peter Gasperini and Griffin Jones rounded out the team as Gasperini finished five-over and Jones, making his first appearance, finished tied for 60^th. Individually, Ryan Ahrens finished tied for 65^th.
