WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Finishing in a tie for 18^th after day one of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, the Radford men's golf team shot 18 strokes better in the second round on Monday and jumped to ninth place.

KEY STORYLINES

The Highlanders finished the day shooting a 288 and now have a 594 aggregated score, good for ninth place.
The 288 is the third best second round score of any team in the competition, behind Southern Illinois and Loyola Md., with a 284 and 287 respectively.
Radford shot 12 birdies as a team in the second round. Each player recorded multiple birdies.
Hunter Duncan and Gareth Sargent led the way with three of their own.
Myles Creighton moved to 16^th place after shooting a one-over (71) in the second round. Sargent also shot one-over and is now in a tie for 34^th.
Utah Valley remains in first place with a one stroke lead over Southern Illinois.
