MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO CAMPBELL IN BIG SOUTH REGULAR SEASON FINALE

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's tennis team fell to Campbell, 5-2, in its Big South regular season finale on Wednesday at Nisbet Tennis Center in Buies Creek, N.C.

The Highlanders dropped the doubles point and looked to bounce back in the singles competition. After Campbell took court 5, Andres Silva kept the Highlanders within striking distance with a win on court 6. That made it a 2-1 contest.

The Camels picked up three straight points including the match clincher on court 2 as Bastien Huon defeated Rodrigo Magalhaes. Alexandros Caldwell was another bright spot in the match as he picked up a win in three sets on court 3. He fell in the first set and bounced back to win the final two sets.

The Highlanders will travel to N.C. Central to complete the regular season on Friday at 1 p.m.
