RADFORD TAKES DOWN NORTH CAROLINA A&T

BOX SCORE RADFORD, Va. – The men's tennis program took down a future Big South conference foe in North Carolina A&T Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 final score with freshman Demi Taramonlis keeping up his fiery start to the season.

After big victories on court one for doubles and singles earlier this week against UNC Greensboro, Taramonlis kept the success rolling with easy victories in doubles and singles today. He teamed up with Andres Silva on court one for doubles where the duo easily dispatched their opponent 6-1. Taramonlis moved on to win his singles match decisively at 6-2, 6-1.

The duo of Rodrigo Magalhaes and Yevhen Sirous also took down their doubles opponent 6-1 while William Crane and Konstantinos Raptis took care of business clinching the doubles point on court three.

Silva clinched the match for the Highlanders on court four with a 7-6, 6-4 victory which was his second consecutive victory on court four for Radford. Raptis and Varga also took their matches on court five and six to increase the lead with Varga's match only sealing the victory even further.
