RADFORD FINISHES PINEHURST INTERCOLLEGIATE TIED FOR THIRD

PINEHURST, N.C. – The Radford men's golf team completed play at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate on Sunday, finishing in a tie for third place. The Highlanders shot a team score of 298 in the final round.

Peter Gasperini led the Highlanders and earned his second straight top-10 finish after shooting a final-round score of 74. Patrick Gareiss also earned a top-20 finish, closing the tournament with a 4-over 75 to finish tied for 14th.

Tyler Hull shot a 3-over 74 to slide into the top 20, finishing the tournament tied for 19th. Hunter Duncan finished just outside the top 20 in a tie for 21st at 16-over. Nicholas Taliaferro finished tied for 27th at 17-over. All five of Radford's players finished inside the top 30 and the top half of the tournament field.

Gasperini, Duncan, Gareiss and Taliaferro each had two birdies in the round for Radford, while Hull had a team-high 13 pars in the round.
