KIERRA HENDERSON NAMED TO BIG SOUTH ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kierra Henderson has been named to the Big South Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Thursday.

In past seasons Henderson, a senior from Lorton, Virginia, was the lead-off leg in the school record 4x100-meter relay team with a time of 45.84. In the 2019 Big South Outdoor Championships she placed second in the outdoor long jump. In her time at Radford she also ranks seventh in the 60-meter dash as well as sixth in the indoor long jump.

Off the track, Henderson carries a 3.77 GPA as an Exercise, Sport and Health Education major. Henderson is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi academic frat and is a member of the Dean's List for her college.
