SIX STUDENT-ATHLETES TABBED WITH VASID ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS

RADFORD, VA. – Six highly-touted student-athletes were tabbed with all-academic honors by the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association (VaSID) on Monday.

Hunter Mundy, Sr., Creedmoor, N.C., 3.88, Political Science, Softball
Brittany Rinaldi, Sr., Miller Place, N.Y., 4.0, Geospatial Science, Women's Lacrosse
Jacob Wilkinson, R-Jr., Frederick, Md., 4.0, Finance and Accounting (Double Major), Men's Soccer
Stephanie Neast, Sr., Mechanicsburg, Pa., 3.87, Exercise, Sport and Health Education, Volleyball
Natacha Rangel-Ribiero, Sr., Midlothian, Va., 4.0, Chemistry, Women's Soccer

Each school from across the Commonwealth of Virginia may nominate up to six student-athletes from all sports for the annual VaSID Academic All-State Team. This year, 37 schools nominated deserving student-athletes, with a total of 222 being honored for the 2019-20 academic year.

VaSID names 44 all-state teams in 23 sports each year, as well as an Academic All-State squad and an all-sports champion in both the University and College Divisions. Membership in VaSID is open to all media relations professionals working at a university or conference in the state of Virginia.
