RADFORD, Va. – After a competitive start to the match, a straight red card left the Radford Men's Soccer team playing with just 10 men for the final 65 minutes and the home squad fell to USC Upstate, 6-0, at Cupp Stadium as a result on Saturday.

Joseba Incera held his ground and stopped a point-blank shot, but the rebound fell right at the feet of another Spartan and his follow-up shot attempt hit the raised hand of
Noah Haddad. Haddad was shown a red card for stopping an obvious scoring chance.
USC Upstate's Mario Arrocha scored the subsequent penalty kick and then added another in the 27
th minute to truly open the floodgates.
The Big South foes added a third goal in the 40
th minute, and then scored a trio of goals in the second half to bring their final total to six.
KEYS STATS
- Freshman midfielder Tony Martinez made his first career start
- Hansy Velasquez, a freshman forward who was recently selected to represent the Puerto Rico U-20 team, made his collegiate debut
- Incera did his best in goal, making four saves
