
Radford Drops Back End of Road Trip at High Point

High Point, N.C. – Playing in the second game of an early weekend road trip, the Radford volleyball team fell to conference leader High Point, 3-0, on Friday afternoon at the Millis Center.
With the game tied 9-9 in the first set, High Point went on a 7-0 run to take control, ultimately winning the set 25-19. Junior Login Williams put together an impressive performance however, recording eight of her 11 assists in the opening game frame.
The second set saw continuous back and forth action, with the Panthers leading most of the way and utilizing a 7-2 run late to take the 25-18 victory.
Radford fell in the third set, 25-18, despite scoring the first three points. High Point took the match, 3-0, improving their league-best conference record to 12-1.

Radford will return to the friendly confines of Carilion Clinic Court at the Dedmon Center for the final weekend of the regular season as they play host to Winthrop on Friday. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.Â

KEY STATS
- Trinity Burge registered another solid performance with a team-high 13 assists, giving her three straight games with double-figure assists and seven of her last eight.
- Emily Dykes paced the visitors with eight kills.
- Despite the loss, Radford did record four blocks while limiting High Point to just one.
