Dudeck Cards Top-20 Finish in Collegiate Debut, Radford Places 12th

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Radford freshman Bobby Dudeck had five birdies Tuesday afternoon, including four in his first eight holes, to earn a top-20 finish at the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate.

Dudeck finished in a tie for 17th at 5-over the event, which was his first-ever collegiate tournament. As a team, Radford placed 12th out of 16 teams at 40-over for the tournament.

Starting on the back nine Tuesday, Dudeck birdied holes 13, 14, 16 and 17 on the way to a 4-under 32 on the first nine for the day. He was inside the top five at the turn before finishing the round at 1-over.

Bryce Corbett finished tied for 34th at 9-over for the tournament. Corbett rebounded from a tough opening nine holes to post a 2-over 38 on the last nine, including a birdie on his final hole.

Nicholas Taliaferro finished tied for 48th at 12-over for the tournament, while Channing Blevins finished tied for 64th at 17-over.

Hunter Duncan finished 73rd overall at 22-over, though the senior put together his best nine-hole stretch of the tournament in the final nine holes of the event, going 1-under with a pair of birdies in his last nine.

Overall, Charleston Southern won the tournament at 7-over, two shots ahead of second-place Augusta. Furman's Keller Harper and High Point's Brandon Einstein were named co-champions in the individual potion after each finished at 4-under for the tournament, one shot ahead of Augusta's Alex van Wyk.
