Bryce Corbett Named Big South Freshman of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After earning a top-10 finish in his first career collegiate event, Bryce Corbett was named the Big South Men's Golf Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon.

Corbett finished sixth at the Seahawk Intercollegiate, Radford's second event of the 2020-21 season, with a three-round score of 4-under. The Gainesville, Virginia, native carded three of Radford's four lowest rounds of the tournament, including the Highlanders' low round of 3-under 72 in the second round. He finished the event with 12 birdies.

The award is the first weekly honor of Corbett's career. Radford has now produced Freshman of the Week winners in each of its last two tournaments, after Bobby Dudeck was named freshman of the week after the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate at the end of February.

Corbett and the Highlanders return to action March 28 at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.
