Tiebreaker Doesn’t Go Radford’s Way at Davidson

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Radford (3-7) fell to Davidson (5-7) in a match moved indoors due to a rainy afternoon on Thursday.
 
In doubles play Davidson was able to claim the doubles point, but Melissa Ifidzhen and Salma Loudili stayed perfect on the week in doubles by adding a 6-4 win on court one.
 
Moving on to singles play, the Highlanders claimed three courts. The first Highlander to claim victory was Malin Falk who made quick work of her opponent on court three 6-0, 6-1. Emily Brandow got back in the win column on court four with a 6-3, 7-6(5) win. The freshman Loudili stayed perfect in singles play this week as well with her third straight singles win 7-6(5), 7-6(4-3, injury).
