  • Radford won their second straight match this week in a dominant 14-9 win at Gardner-Webb to move to 1-1 in conference play. Both wins for Radford this season have come on the road, but they'll be at home for two big conference matches this week against Winthrop and Longwood.
  • Ava Goeller recorded her fifth hat trick of the season, third in a row, in a win at Gardner-Webb. Her goal with 19 minutes left in the first half gave Radford a 3-2 lead it would never relinquish.
  • Lindsey Carroll recently surpassed the 100-goal mark, just the fifth Highlander to ever do so, and followed that up with a tied for team-high four goals in a win at Gardner-Webb. It was the second time this season she scored four goals, two of which field a 5-0 run by Radford to grab a commanding 7-2 lead.
  • Grace Gleason ripped of six shots and scored three goals at Gardner-Webb. Her offensive production wasn't the only thing helping Radford, as defensively she picked up three ground balls and caused a turnover. She also had a team-high five draw controls. Her three goals and five draw controls were both season highs.
  • Winthrop has won two of their last three matches, beating Gardner-Webb and Kennesaw State. They most recently fell in a tight 5-8 loss against Campbell.
