Highlanders Drop Match at Flames

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Radford (5-9) fell in a tough match with Liberty (15-4) on Monday afternoon.

The Highlanders were very competitive in doubles play. The duo of Salma Loudili and Melissa Ifidzhen dominated on court one to the tune of a 6-2 win. Liberty took court two and would eventually take court three despite Katey Fruehauf and Tyler Blalock playing well in a 4-6 loss.

Radford picked up one court in singles play, as Camryn McClure took court six in an absolute dominant 6-1, 6-0 win. Fruehauf also battled hard on court five but would ultimately come up short in a 5-7, 6-3, 2-10 loss.

Radford will be back at home for their Big South regular season finale against Gardner-Webb on Saturday.
