Men’s Tennis Marks Strong Start at UNCG Hidden Duals

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Radford men's tennis program finished the UNCG Hidden Duals Sunday afternoon capping a good start to the fall tournament season. Highlander competitors in total posted a 12-4 record in doubles and a 19-11 record in singles.

On the first day of the weekend Radford took doubles matches on courts two and three to beat Tennessee Tech. Radford was also victorious on courts two and four against Chattanooga in doubles play. In singles play, Radford recorded victories against Campbell on courts two, four and five.

On the second day of competition Radford got off to a great start by sweeping UNC Greensboro on all seven courts in singles. Radford then repeated those results with a sweep on all four courts in doubles play against UNC Greensboro as well. Earlier in the day Radford also took three singles victories against Tennessee Tech.

On the final and third day of competition the Highlanders finished strong. Radford took the only two doubles courts played against UNC Asheville and then took five singles courts against the reigning Big South regular season champion.
