DAVIDSON, N.C. – Nicholas Taliaferro completed a sensational effort this week with a 2-under par to lead the Radford Men's Golf team to a T-3
rd place finish at Davidson College's River Run Collegiate.
Taliaferro bounced back from a first-round 76 to shoot a 68 in the second round and then finished his week with a 70 in the third round on Tuesday. The Richmond, Va. product drained 12 birdies in two days to secure his spot as one of only six golfers to finish under par. He jumped four spots up the leaderboard to end the tournament in 6
th.
Tyler Hull (T-12
th, +3) and
Bryce Corbett (T-23
rd, +8) each shot a 76 in the third round to give Radford three golfers in the top-25.
Hunter Duncan had his best round of the tournament, shooting a 75 to rise 12 spots and finish T-52
nd at +15. He birdied his first two holes of the day and added a third on his final hole.
Ryan Neil also finished T-52
nd at +15 to round out the scoring for the Highlanders

Radford hosts its first-ever home tournament on Monday, Oct. 4 with the Highlander Invitational. It will be held at the Pete Dye River Course and all spectators are welcome.
