SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Cougars have met just a handful of times over the last couple decades. The mos recent meeting came last season in the Coastal Carolina Christmas Tournament in Conway, S.C., a neutral court for both teams. The Cougars used a hot-shooting start especially from deep to pull away and win the meeting 77-59.

Rachel LaLonde and Jackie Christ both pulled down a team-best five rebounds each and the duo both scored four points against the Cougars last season. Vanessa Blake also saw 20 minutes of action, collecting four offensive rebounds and totaling eight points in what was a break-out performance for the freshman.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
College of Charleston is searching for its first Division I victory but has shown an elite offense through the early going in some tough losses. The Cougars are averaging an impressive 73.8 points per game thanks to a shooting percentage just below 40% overall from the floor. Charleston is no stranger to the three-ball, averaging seven of those per game at a 30% shooting clip.

Anika McGarity, who exploded for five three-pointers in the first quarter of last season's game between the two teams, is one of those sharpshooters from deep with already seven three-pointers made this season. Senior Jada Logan is averaging 20 points a game as a starter for the Cougars and is also a scoring threat to keep an eye on Wednesday.

TRAYLOR SISTERS DOMINATING IN THE NRV
Radford freshman Ashlyn Traylor and her sister Kayana Traylor over at Virginia Tech are proving to be quite the force to be reckoned with in the New River Valley. Ashlyn picked up back-to-back double-doubles in two wins last week while her older sister over in Blacksburg, Va. also scored 38 points, 23 rebounds and 16 assists in a trio of victories for the Hokies. Both sisters recorded double-doubles on the same day last Sunday, helping their teams to victories over UNCW and Longwood.

BIG SOUTH STAT CHECK
Radford is in the top half of the conference for multiple statistic categories through six games this season. The Highlander hold top-half marks in scoring average (68.8ppg), defense (62.3ppg), overall shooting (46%), three-point shooting (34%), overall rebounding (39.7rpg), assist/turnover ratio (0.88) and blocks (5bpg).
