MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – All five Highlanders shot under par on Tuesday to help the Radford men's golf team finish seventh at the Appalachian State-hosted Bash at the Beach.
Radford shot a 276 (-8) in the third round to jump up three spots in the standings on the final day of the tournament.
Sophomore
Bryce Corbett was spectacular yet again, shooting a 67 (-4) without a single bogey on Tuesday to bring his final tally to -8 and tie for 3
rd out of 99 golfers. It's the second straight podium finish and the third top-5 performance of the season for the Battlefield High School alum.
Patrick Gareiss shot a 70 for the second straight round, bringing him to -1, T-32
nd for the tournament. He improved his birdie output in each round, going from two in the first round to three in the second round and finally four in the third round.
Ryan Neil carded a 69 (-2) in the third round, his second-best score of the year, to tie for 52
nd. Both
Tyler Hull and
Nicholas Taliaferro shot for 70 on the day to end the tournament tied for 59
th at 6-over par.
