
Highlanders End 2022 Season with Loss at Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Radford women's lacrosse team ended their 2022 season with a 14-7 defeated at the hands of the Wofford Terriers Wednesday.
Linley Tirrell recorded her first-career hat trick with three goals on the day. Tirrell is the 20th individual in Radford history to record three-or-more goals in a game.
Grace Gleason notched a goal - as well as five ground balls - in her final collegiate game and her sister Margaret Gleason added two more goals on to her strong season total with number 23 and 24 on the year.
With 26 seconds to play, Olivia Cox scored the final goal of the season for the Highlanders, the first of her career. Jessica Diorio had the lone assist on the day, on Grace Gleason's goal.
Laura Ferko continued her strong close to her sophomore campaign with five draw controls and two ground balls.
With one caused turnover on the day Cameron Counts stands alone at ninth in school history with 20 on the season. Olivia Hunter added nine saves to end the season with 169, just two shy of the single season school record.
