WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Matching their first-round score of 306, the Radford women's golf team carded a pair of eagles and placed 8
th at the William & Mary Fall Invitational.
Now a junior,
Jimenna Ramirez has shown a great amount of potential throughout her collegiate career and that potential shown through once again on Tuesday. Two birdies and a Hole 11 eagle helped the Mexicali, Mexico native shoot 1-over par and jump six spots up the individual leaderboard. With a +9 for the tournament, Ramirez tied for 15
th out of 60 golfers in Williamsburg.
Team captain
Natalie Welsh came across the finish line next, tying for 25
th at 13-over par for the tournament. She shot 5-over in the final round, including two more birdies.
Hannah Lindemann rounded out her debut tournament with a 4-over par on Tuesday, managing to limit her mistakes albeit without a birdie or better. She ends the week at +18 and tied for 33
rd thanks to a double-digit jump up the standings.
Jayde Dudley carded two birdies of her own on the day, bringing her final score to +19 over three rounds to tie for 37
th.
Niki Batac accounted for the squad's second eagle in the third round, taking just three strokes on the Par-5 seventh hole. She shot 9-over in the round and finished things up at +24, tied for 48
th.
Playing as an individual,
Kaitlyn Mosdell also shot 9-over in the round and claimed 54
th place with a +33 for the tournament.
