RADFORD, Va. – Radford Athletics, in partnership with INFLCR, has officially launched the Highlander Exchange – a brand new comprehensive Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) platform that provides the opportunity for Highlander student-athletes and interested outside parties to connect directly for NIL partnerships, endorsements and opportunities.
"We are excited to expand our partnership with INFLCR to provide additional support to our student-athletes with Name, Image and Likeness," said Director of Athletics Robert Lineburg. "This platform will provide all of our student-athletes the opportunity to expand and maximize their opportunities in the NIL landscape."
The Highlander Exchange is just the latest addition to Radford's ongoing efforts of supporting NIL opportunities for their student-athletes. The exchange will serve as the central marketplace for all NIL information, education, opportunities and reporting. The platform allows for all interested businesses and parties to work directly with Highlander student-athletes for brand-focused activities. All potential partnerships must follow Radford University NIL protocols and will be approved in advance by the Radford Athletics Compliance department.
"We're excited to expand our partnership with Radford Athletics by launching the Highlander Exchange, an innovative platform that empowers student-athletes to seize the full potential of their Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities," said INFLCR General Manager Sean Kelly. "Through the exchange, we're providing athletes the tools they need to connect with businesses, enhance their online brand, and thrive in the NIL marketplace."
NIL opportunities and activities may include autographs, personal appearances, social media product promotions, running camps and clinics, and much more. After a quick online registration through the exchange's online portal, interested businesses, collectives and individuals will be granted access to a searchable database for all Radford student-athletes. They will then be able to reach out directly to any athlete or athletes of their choosing to begin NIL opportunity discussions.

The Highlander Exchange is a free platform that is available to all Highlander student-athletes. In addition to having the ability to work directly with businesses through the exchange, all athletes will also have access to INFLCR's content delivery system. The system allows them to easily access photos, videos and other media content that bolsters their online presence. The system also provides valuable analytical data to help the student-athletes measure their audience engagement.
The Highlander Exchange also includes a payment processing tool which allows for student-athletes to receive compensation securely after each transaction and creates a 1099 form that lives within each of the student-athletes INFCLR app portfolios for more efficient tax reporting.
Radford is just the latest athletics department to partner with INFLCR, who has quickly become the national leader in athlete brand building, NIL opportunity creation and content management. Its platforms are currently used by more than 3,500 collegiate and professional sport teams.
