RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's soccer team fell, 7-0, to George Mason at Cupp Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Highlanders found themselves down 1-0 early in the match after George Mason's Luis Maestre opened scoring for the Patriots after a pass that left Maestre wide open for an easy tap in. The Patriots then doubled their lead when James Eliuda scored in the 22nd minute to make it 2-0.
George Mason made it 4-0 before halftime and didn't let up in the final 45 minutes either, scoring three more goals thanks to 11 of their 16 shot attempts staying on target.
Bryceland Peacock and Tallon Allway split time in goal for Radford, with each keeper making two saves. Sophomore forward Matt Lucas led the team in playing time with 83 minutes of action on the field.
