CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Radford baseball infielder
Tanner Barrs has been named to the 2023 Big South All-Academic Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
Barrs excelled in the classroom, earning a 3.79 cumulative GPA in Management. He also earned the Outstanding Student Award for the Davis College of Business and Economics.
On the field, Barrs played in 45 games this season, batting .245 with five home runs and 25 RBI. On May 12th at UNC Asheville, he made his 100th career start in a Highlander uniform. A native of Abingdon, Va., Barrs has played in 118 games with Radford, totaling 90 hits, eight home runs, and 55 RBI.
