Lynchburg, Va. – Radford Women's Track and Field headed back to Liberty on Saturday for another successful weekend.
Elyssia Fisher found her way in the top-10 in two of her events to showcase Radford's success.
Fisher was a part of a three-way tie for seventh place in the women's long jump. Not too far behind,
Kandace McIvor landed in the top-15 with a distance of 16' 11¾" (5.18m). Fisher also shined in the 200 meter dash, coming in fifth place. This puts Fisher third overall for the 200m in the Big South and beats her previous time on the record book, keeping her in fourth place.
Sela Beatty placed in the top-30 out of over 80 runners in the 200m dash.
In the 400m,
Raichelle Cornelius had a third place finish, while
Jordan Jackson achieved a personal best of 59.66 in this event, putting her in the top-10.
Jaslyne Robinson fought her way through prelims to come in sixth place overall in the 60m hurdles.
To round off the Highlanders, freshman,
Katja Kehlenbeck also found herself in a three-way tie for seventh place in the women's high jump.

The Highlanders continue their journey in Lynchburg, Va. for the Darius Dixon Invitational next Friday and Saturday.
