ELON, N.C. – The Radford men's soccer program fell on the road to a strong Elon squad Monday evening with a 5-0 final. 
 
KEY STATS 

• Felix Davies recorded four saves in his debut as a Highlander 

• Florian Senst led the offensive efforts recording two shots in tonight's match 

  
PLAY BY PLAY 

In the first half, Elon got off to a quick start against the Highlanders, scoring back-to-back goals in the contest's opening minutes. The Highlander defense was able to regroup as they were able to hold off the Phoenix offense keeping them scoreless for the remainder of the half.  

The Highlanders created some chances at goal, but none stayed on target to threaten the Elon keeper, leaving the score at 2-0 heading into halftime.  

In the second half, Elon was able to tack on three more goals to their lead to secure their 5-0 victory over the Highlanders. 
 
 
AROUND THE BIG SOUTH 

• In-State rival Longwood recorded a 2-2 draw against Liberty

  
UP NEXT 
The Highlanders hit the road again later this week as they travel down to Old Dominion to face the Monarchs on Sunday, September 1st. The match is set for a 4 PM start and will be streamed on ESPN+
