RAD48 2025 GIVING PAGE

RADFORD, Va. – It is almost that time Highlander Nation!

Radford Athletics' annual 48-hour giving campaign, RAD48, returns on Tuesday, February 4th!

The annual fundraiser to directly support Highlander athletics will run from noon on February 4th through noon on Thursday, February 6th.

RAD48 is a department wide fundraising initiative that will support all 16 of Radford University's NCAA Division I programs, with the main goal to enhance the student-athlete experience for all Highlander student-athletes.

In addition to getting a chance to join in and support all of the Radford men's and women's programs, fans and supporters will also have the opportunity to support the cheer and dance program, strength and conditioning and athletics training, as well as allow for a way to give unrestricted funds for the entire athletics department's needs.

Other opportunities to make a difference include supporting the Highlander Club general fund, the student-athlete scholarship fund and the women's sports leadership fund.

The fundraiser greatly enhances the student-athlete experience for Radford student-athletes in what is now an ever-changing NCAA landscape that has been coupled with budget reductions handed down over the last few years. For those 48 hours of RAD48, it is a chance for fans, supporters, alumni and donors to help keep the base of Radford Athletics strong and continue the Highlander tradition of creating champions on the field of competition, in the classroom and in the community.

One hundred percent of all gifts are directed to the fund of your choice; to make an impact across the entire department or strictly for a specific program. The choice is up to you!

The mission of RAD48 is to provide 300-plus Radford student-athletes across 16 varsity sports programs with a transformation experience, something that requires a significant investment of time, energy and resources. Radford Athletics takes the mission to invest itself into the development of Highlander student-athletes as people, students, competitors and young adults very seriously, and call on all of Highlander Nation to assist in these efforts. The landscape of college athletics is changing but our commitment to student success has not!

PLEASE NOTE: All gifts made during RAD48 are considered a donation to Radford University Athletics. Please contact your financial advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your gift. Your gift will also be acknowledged with an e-mailed receipt for record keeping and tax records.
