Second Half Attack Proves Too Much in Men’s Soccer Loss to High Point

PLAY BY PLAY
Radford's defense came in strong just as it had a week ago holding a similarly nationally ranked team scoreless. In the first half of play, Radford's defense would remain impenetrable against the #11 Panthers. Fukai Imamura and Tyler Pulik's efforts would help Miller stop any chances from the Panthers.

Radford would come out of the half tied 0-0 looking to build an opportunity off of a free kick from Kiril Smirnov. His shot would go just to the right of the goal. Moments later in the 53rd minute the Panthers would score the winning goal off of a cross to a header that found its way past Miller. In the 62nd minute, the Panthers would score their second and final goal of the game to give them the 2-0 lead.

The Highlanders wouldn't give up hope as they continued to apply pressure led by Radomski's fresh legs. But ultimately, they couldn't get anything past the goalie of High Point leading to the game finishing 2-0.
