PLAY BY PLAY
Radford started cold out the gates but was able to crawl back into the game behind Dennis Parker Jr. and Walls. After four scoreless minutes, Parker Jr. broke the ice while Walls sunk a three. After a pair of free throws from Jaylon Johnson, Radford was tied with South Carolina 7-7. An and-one by Parker Jr. tied the game back up at 10-all.

The Highlanders weren't quite able to break a lead but makes from Jones and Johnson had Radford within a few scores with under 10 to play in the half. A tip-in make from Tyson Brown pulled Radford within two again, but a 6-0 run by South Carolina established a strong lead that would hold the rest of the half.

The Highlanders got some more good looks from Jones and Parker Jr. who led the scoring efforts through the first half, but after 20 minutes it was 40-25 lead for South Carolina. Out of the break, the cold shooting continued for the Highlanders as the Gamecocks opened on a 10-1 run.

Jones, Walls and L. Jordan were all able to combine for four three pointers to break the run and get the Highlanders some shots to land from deep. Down the final stretch, Radford got four points from Frederik Erichsen and another three from L. Jordan. The South Carolina offense kept clicking throughout, though, ending 87-58 in their favor.
