A LOOK BACK
The Highlanders and Bobcats have met just once in the regular season, with that meeting coming all the way back in the 2006-07 season. Meeting inside the Dedmon Center, the Highlanders were victorious 89-64.

NEW FACES SET NEW HIGHS
In Radford's season opener victory, multiple new faces on the squad set new career highs in the first games in the red and white. Pacing Radford's offense all night was Del Jones who set a new career high with 22 points on 8 of 14 shooting, also his first career outing of 20+ points. Brennan Rigsby Jr., who provided valuable minutes off the bench offensively and defensively, tied his career high with seven rebounds. The freshman Frederik Erichsen made a good first impression as well, scoring seven points and three boards in 17 minutes of action.

BEST START SINCE…
On Friday night, Radford will look to move to 2-0 to start the season for the first time since 2018-19. Radford's season opening victory over Western Illinois was their first in an opener against a Division I opponent since the 2015-16 season when the squad went on the road and upset Georgetown in overtime. The 80 points scored by the Highlanders were also their most since opening the 2022-23 season with a dominant 114-54 win over Mary Baldwin.

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
The Bobcats enter Friday night's meeting for their first game action of the season. West Virginia Wesleyan is led by fifth-year head coach Derek Sloan who was elevated into the role before the 2021-22 season and is in his seventh season overall. The Bobcats were picked to finish 11th in the Mountain East preseason poll prior to the season's start. Curtis Lytton highlights the returning players from last season's roster in his fourth season with the program. In his career, he's averaged 9.2 ppg, 1.2 apg and 4.0 rpg over 44 starts.
