Men’s Golf surges on day two; holds steady to claim sixth at Cutter Creek Intercollegiate

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The Radford men's golf team used a strong day two to surge to a sixth-place finish at the 2025 Cutter Creek Intercollegiate at Cutter Creek Golf Course across three rounds that were played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

TOURNAMENT INFO: 14 teams and 89 competing student-athletes
 
NOTABLES
- Bobby Dudeck led the way with a top 10 finish as he tied for seventh overall. He posted rounds of -3, -1 and +3 to finish a stroke under par for the tournament. Dudeck was one of just 14 student-athletes who finished with an eagle. He also tied for second with a scoring average of 3.93 on par 4s.
- Benson Blevins was next in a tie for 16th at one-over. He shot +1 and +3 over the first two days and closed his final round with a standout -3 performance. His stellar final round on Sunday improved him 16 spots on the final day. Blevins finished second at the competition with 16 birdies and tied for the third-best scoring average on par 3s (2.83). He also matched his aforementioned teammate with an eagle.
- Jack Urban (tied for 42nd, +7), Tate Corbett (tied for 50th, +9), Louie Stott (tied for 55th, +10) and Channing Blevins (tied for 60th, +12) rounded things out for Radford.
- Corbett posted the best round of the tournament for the Highlanders with a -4 for Sunday's final round.
- Radford had a strong overall showing as the group finished fourth as a team on par 4s (4.18 scoring average), tied for fifth on par 3s (3.17) and tied for sixth on par 5s (4.92).
- The Highlanders were ranked second overall in birdies (59) and tied for second in eagles (two). 
- The squad posted 178 holes of par.
- As a unit, Radford finished as the second-best Big South Conference team at the tournament as the Highlanders knocked off teams from Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian and Charleston Southern.

The Highlanders will head to Kannapolis, North Carolina for their final tune up of the regular season with App State's The Irish Creek Collegiate that runs Monday, April 7 through Tuesday, April 8 at The Club at Irish Creek. The group will then have a short rest before the Big South Championships on Sunday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 23 in Fripp Island, South Carolina.
