THE BREAKDOWN
- Eight different Radford student-athletes posted at least one base knock, four finished with multi-hit efforts and four also recorded two RBI.
- James Ward continued his standout campaign with a 2-for-5 day at the plate that included a home run, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.
- Brady Powell and Zach Paczewski both stepped into the lineup and posted huge afternoons. Powell went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a double and a walk while Paczewski finished 1-for-4 overall. Both Powell and Paczewski recorded two runs batted in apiece, respectively.
- Eli Hudgins made it four Highlanders with multi-RBI performances off a 1-for-4 showing.
- Tyler Kehoe (2-for-4, two runs) and Kyle Crisp (2-for-3, two runs, one base on balls) also had multi-hit performances.
- Both Hunter Keen (1-for-5, one double) and Tyler Sparrer (1-for-4) came around to score a single time.
- Ben Keefe improved to 3-1 on the year with five standout innings of work on the mound. He allowed just four hits and one earned run to go with five strikeouts. The five innings thrown were the most in a single game in his career.

- Radford once again got on the board first in the bottom of the first off a RBI single up the middle by Ward to make it a 1-0 game.

- Radford wasn't having any of that with a three-spot in the bottom of the fifth.
- The Royals scored twice in the sixth and once in the eighth, but by then the game was already out of reach as the Highlanders cruised to the 9-4 win..@elihudgins16 wanted in on the action!! ??
