CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Radford men's soccer program couldn't find an equalizer late and dropped a tough one on the road to Queens (NC) Saturday night.

KEY STATS

The 1-0 win by Queens (NC) was their third straight victory by a 1-0 score over a Big South foe.
Of Radford's nine shots, only two came on goal.
Bookings were aplenty in the match as the two squads totaled 28 fouls and five yellow cards.

PLAY BY PLAY
Saturday night's quiet match got off to a quiet start for both squads as no early opportunities presented themselves. Some cards were given out throughout the first half as both teams played a physical defense. Through 45, both teams remained knotted at 0-0.

The Royals would strike first in the 59th minute, scoring the lone goal of the game to go ahead 1-0. Radford would get a few shots on goal in the closing minutes, but none found the back of the net. As the final whistle blew, the Highlanders offense was shut out for the first time in their last three matches.
