PLAY BY PLAY
It was a quiet start to Tuesday's match despite multiple corners from the Phoenix early on as neither team would break the net until the second half. In the 35th minute, Elon was able to draw a penalty kick opportunity. Miller stood strong in the net reacting quickly and just getting a hand on the shot to keep the match tied.

The score remained tied until the 69th minute when the Phoenix were able to sneak a shot in from a corner attempt. Just a few minutes before the whistles blew final, Elon added one more goal in the 88th minute to go ahead 2-0. The Highlanders weren't able to find an answer, falling in the 2-0 finish.
