FROM COACH MCGUIRE
"It was great to get back in the Dedmon Center for our season opener," began head coach Mike McGuire at the press conference. "We've been looking forward to this for quite some time, especially how we finished last season. Tonight was a great overall team effort. Obviously, the margin of victory got a little bit out of hand. Very proud of how we played otherwise for 40 minutes. That's something that we're going to need to do on Saturday and moving forward into next week. Great team effort. Great attention to detail. I love the competitive fire. And I appreciate everyone that came out for our season opener. We're off to a good start this year."
