Biography

2011-12
Played in all 10 events and led team with 15 rounds at or under par… Set new school record with six Top-10 performances… Finished even par or under par in three events… Radford’s top finisher in three fall events… In four all fall events, finished Top-10 in each respective tournament… All 29 rounds counted towards Radford’s team score… Season-best performance came at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate where he shot three-under 139 and finished tied for fourth… Finished the year with 73.2 stroke average – 10th best in the Big South… Wrapped up Highlander career with five tournaments in the red. 

2010-11
Owned a 74.36 stroke average, third best on the team… Tallied three rounds in the 60’s… Finished under par in two tournaments… Recorded an impressive 17-stroke swing from day one to the second round at the Big South Championship and jumped 15 spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 25th… Converted eight birdies en route to carding career-best one-under 143 at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate and finished tied for fourth.

2009-10
Competed in five tournaments and played 15 total rounds… Led all Radford competitors with a three-over 219 in the Wendy’s Charleston Shootout (Feb. 28-Mar.1), tying for 13th place… Tied with Kyle Bailey for Radford’s lowest round score, 68 (-4), in the Coca Cola Wofford Invitational (Apr. 12-13).

2008-09
Appeared in three fall events and one in the spring... Recorded a season-low one-over 73 on two separate occasions.

Prep/Personal
Received all-district, all-region and all-state honors following his junior and senior campaigns... Played at Bassett in 2006 before transferring to Floyd County High School in 2007... Son of Sandra and Marvin Wade... Born February 26, 1990 and has a younger sister, Sarah.
