Competed in four 8k events as a true freshman… Earned 57th place in the Big South Preview with his PR of 29:34.00 at the time… Turned around in the Blue Ridge Open to record another PR of 29:29.10… Ran to a 29:50 finish at the Big South Championship in late October. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Named all-district 17 times throughout career at L.C. Bird and 10 times named all-academic... Four-time district champion... Earned regional honors athletically and academically three times... Regional Champion in the 800m en route to earning first team state honors... LCB Runner of the Year MVP in three of four years... Held five school records (800, 1000, 3 mile, 4x400 and 4x800m).
