- Big South Player of the Week during the week of May 7-13, hitting .526 (10-for-19) with three RBI, three doubles, and seven runs scored
- Recorded a hit in 34 of 40 games played, including 34 of 39 games started
- Led the team with 24 multi-hit games and had 10 straight multi-hit games from April 20-May 19
- Hit safely in 28 of 30 games to end the season
- Had nine games with three or more hits, including a four hit game vs. Winthrop on April 7
- Posted three hits and five RBI in victory over Ohio on Feb. 24.
2006 Highlights
- Tied Radford’s single-game record with three home runs against VMI in second game of a double header on April 15
- Led team as a freshman in home runs (9), RBI (40) and slugging percentage (.472), and topped conference freshmen in homers and RBI
- Drove in four and scored four runs in a game twice; at North Carolina A&T on March 4 and at VMI on April 15
- Hit safely in 13 of his first 15 games as a Highlander, including nine straight
- Recorded nine multi hit outings, including five with three or more hits and two games with four hits
- Produced first hit and RBI on Feb. 18 at South Carolina
- Hit his first home run on March 4 at North Carolina A&T
High School
- Teammate of Will Naylor and Robert Lamas at Paul VI
- Two-time First Team All-VISSA, Washington Post All-Met, All-Washington Examiner and All WCAC teams as a junior and senior
- Named one of Greater Washington's top 10 position players by School Sports magazine as a senior
- Helped lead the Panthers to Division I VISSA State Championship as a junior in 2004
- Left as Paul VI’s career leader in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and home runs
- Honorable Mention All-Liberty District as a sophomore at Langley High School
