Won the Roanoke Valley Golf Junior Hall of Fame championship for the second-straight year and the Roanoke Valley Golf Hall of Fame men's championship in 2012, becoming the first golfer to be crowned champion in both events in the same year ... Continuing his sizzling summer stretch, Watts finished runner-up at the VSGA Junior Match Play and qualified for the Virginia-West Virginia and Virginias-Carolinas team matches ... Carrying momentum into his final season with James River, Watts jolted out of the gates with a win at the prestigious Heritage Invitational by carding a 68 ... He followed that performance by blazing the field at the Bob McClelland Metro (70-67) ... Watts finished his career with the Knights as a three-time Pioneer District champion, the Region C champion (senior year) and a three-time All-Group A selection (runner-up – freshman year) ... In his 81 events (excluding high school competition), Watts had 47 Top-5s to his credit and an eye-popping 19 wins ... Advanced to the “Sweet 16” of the 97th VSGA State Amateur.
