Biography

2016
Played in 47 games and made 35 starts, including 31 at catcher, playing position for first time in RU career... Went 2 for 3 with a two-run homer, a double and two runs scored against South Carolina State on Feb. 28.... Had sacrifice fly RBI and scored a run during win over Campbell in Big South Tournament. 

2015
Started 15 games in freshman campaign with 24 appearances...notched nine hits, four runs and three RBI...first home run was a game winner at Gardner-Webb (4/25)...multi-hit outing at Elon on Feb. 8...had 10 starts at third base before missing time due to injuries.

PREP
Selected to the 2014 All-Conference 14 and All-Loudoun teams... Second team all-district in 2011 and team MVP... Academic Athlete award recipient... Member of several summer ball teams, most recently played for Loudoun Storm 18U Black.

Alexandra Nicole Lang is the daughter of Ed and Susan Lang... Has a twin sister Nickey and an older brother Eddie... Special education major... Played baseball until age 12 and was the only female selected to the District 16 All-Star team.
