2008-09 HIGHLIGHTS
• A member of the indoor and outdoor Big South All-Academic team.
INDOOR
• Competed in the weight throw and shot put during the indoor season.
• Opened the indoor season by winning the weight throw (55’4.25”) and placing fourth in the shot put (48’8”) at the Liberty Open.
• Finished third at the Hokie Invitational in the weight throw with a distance of 55’5.75”.
• Topped the field in both the shot put (51’6.26”) and weight throw (56”3”) at the Liberty Open.
• Reached an indoor season-best and personal-best weight throw distance at the Akron Open with a mark of 59’03” and placed third in the shot put (51’10.”).
• Placed sixth in the weight throw (55’1”) and fourth in the shot put (51’7.75”) at the Akron Open.
• All-conference performer in the weight throw and shot put at the Big South Indoor Championships.
• Was second in the shot put with a season-best mark of 52’2’ and third in the weight with a distance of 57’2.75”.
OUTDOOR
• Competed in the hammer throw, shot and discus during the outdoor season.
• NCAA Regional Qualifier in the hammer throw.
• Reached a distance of 194’1” at the NCAA East Regional meet to place 10th.
• Won the hammer throw at the Coastal Carolina Invitational with a mark of 184’11” and reached a season-best distance of 51’1.75” in the shot put to place fourth.
• Hit a distance of 183’2” to win the hammer throw at the 49er Classic.
• Notched a second and third place in the hammer (183’2”) and discus (50’5.25”) at the Winthrop Invitational.
• Captured first in the hammer throw with a toss of 180’4” and placed second in the discus with a distance of 144’2” at the Aggie Relays.
• All-conference performer in the hammer throw at the Big South Outdoor Championships with a mark of 183’0”.
• Reached a season-best discus distance at the Big South Outdoor Championships at 146’9”.
•Eclipsed the field at the Liberty Twilight in the hammer throw with a toss of 183’0”.
• Posted a season-best distance in the hammer throw and qualified for the regionals with a distance of 194’10” at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

2007-08 Highlights
INDOOR
• Posted an eighth-place finish in the shot put (45’11.75”) and a fourth-place showing in the weight throw (52’9”) at the Big South Indoor Championships.
• Notched a season-best shot put distance(48’4”) at the Niswonger Invitational
OUTDOOR
• Competed in the hammer, discus, and shot put during the outdoor season
• Was seventh in the shot put (47’2.5”) and 10th in the discus throw (137’6”) at the Big South Championships.
• Racked up a pair of personal bests at the Radford College Invitational with a distance of 47’8.5” in the shot put, and first place and toss of 147’5” in the discus
throw.
• Had a season-best performance in the hammer throw at the Wake Forest Open, with a toss of 177’11” and a fourth place showing.
