INDOOR: Competed in seven meets … Placed 14th with a new PR in the 3,000m at the Big South Championships … Took second in the 800m at the Darius Dixon Memorial and third in the Distance Medley Relay … Set PRs in the 1,000m (5th) and Mile (7th) at the Hokie Invite … Helped the Distance Medley Relay team place second at the Tryon Winter Classic.
OUTDOOR: Competed in six meets … Placed 10th in the 1,500m with a new PR … Also added a PR in the 800m at the Virginia Challenge.
CROSS COUNTRY – Ran in six meets… Began collegiate career with a 19:22.8 in the 6K at the VT Invitational… Placed a season-best 13th at Lancer Pink Invitational… Ran a 33:27.3 (10K) in the NCAA Regional.

Parents are Jon and Dana Beegle … Has four siblings … His grandfather, Steve Kirley, played basketball at Davidson College … Holds many high school records at Floyd County … Was a three-time 4x800m relay state champion … Set the indoor state meet record in the 1,000m twice on his way to winning titles … Posted a 4.0 GPA in high school … Favorite movie is Thor: Ragnarok … Favorite sports team is the Buffalo Bills.
