AS A SOPHOMORE (2026)
The ace of Radford’s excellent pitching staff stayed true to form, defending her ’25 title and repeating as the Big South Pitcher of the Year becoming just the third Radford player to do so in program history … Earned recognitions such as Big South first-team all-conference, Big South all-tournament, NFCA second-team all-region and two Big South Player of the Week nods … Entering the season, was named one of D1 Softball’s top-100 mid major players in America, one of just two Big South athletes on the list … Posted a 2.79 ERA in 135.1 innings with 104 strikeouts while setting career best marks for batting average against (.209), home runs allowed (10), walks allowed (48), and wild pitches (4) … That .209 opponent batting average was the fifth best single season mark in program history … Also stepped into the batters box regularly for the first time in her career, giving Radford a much-needed boost with a .322/.394/.556 slash line that included a team high five homers and 21 RBI in just 90 at bats … Confined to Big South play, her 1.79 ERA led the conference … Picked up key victories over Liberty (Feb. 27), UConn (Feb. 28), and Winthrop (Apr. 24) … Picked up her first career no-hitter in five innings over Charleston Southern (Apr. 3) … Season-high eight shutout innings in work at USC Upstate (Mar. 20) … Hit Radford’s first postseason grand slam in over a decade against Presbyterian (May 7), the homer also marked just Radford’s second multi-homer performance in over four years.
AS A FRESHMAN (2025)
Was a breakout star for the Highlanders in 2025 filling the trophy case with various awards such as the Big South Pitcher of the Year, Co-Freshman of the Year, Big South first-team and all-freshman, D1 Softball all-freshman all-American, NFCA Top-25 Freshman of the Year finalist, and NFCA Mid-Atlantic all-region awards … First Highlander to ever win two major end of year awards in the same season … Named the 39th best mid major player by D1 Softball’s Top 100 mid major player rankings … Earned seven Big South weekly awards, the most by a Highlander in a single season since 2008 … Led Radford’s pitching staff with a 2.40 ERA, 16 wins, 19 complete games, three shutouts, two saves, and 129 strikeouts in 178 innings of work … In Big South play, opponents hit just .186 against Redmon as she finished with a 1.44 ERA, 55 strikeouts and 11 complete games over 78 innings … Debuted her career with a complete game win with eight strikeouts against Middle Tennessee (Feb. 8) … Earned her first shutout victory over Sacred Heart (Mar. 4) with seven strikeouts … Went into extras for her first Big South win going eight innings of one-run work against Gardner-Webb (Mar. 14) … Went the distance setting a career high of nine innings pitched and 10 strikeouts in back-to-back games against Longwood (Apr. 12 & 13) … Appeared in all three Big South Tournament games, pitching deep into the season with 12 innings of postseason work with 6 strikeouts.
