Joey O'Toole

Joey O’Toole was elevated to director of women’s basketball operations for the 2015-16 season after serving as Radford’s video coordinator for one year.

In his new role, O’Toole will oversee the daily operations of the Radford women’s basketball program, including the logistics of budget, game-day management, coordination of managers’ duties, team travel arrangements, equipment coordination and creative video.

O’Toole is no stranger to the New River Valley, having attended Virginia Tech from 2006-2011. During that time, O’Toole earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In addition to his academics, O’Toole took time out of his schedule to assist the Virginia Tech women’s basketball team as a practice player.

His passion for coaching basketball only grew, which eventually led to him serving as a youth basketball head coach in Henrico, Va., and as an assistant basketball coach at St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, Va.
