Biography

2023 AS A JUNIOR
Started all 17 contests... Scored five goals on the year... Contributed with 32 ground balls... Added nine caused turnovers and 26 draw controls.

2022 AS A SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 14 games, starting nine... Came on strong at the end of the year with 14 draw controls in her last three games... Recorded 17 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and 16 draw controls on the season.

2021 AS A FRESHMAN
Appeared in three games.

PREP
Played the midfield position at Marvin Ridge High School and consistently aided her team to winning seasons and postseason berths...The honor student was also a member of the National Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta...Some of her athletic honors include being named team Rookie of the Year, team MVP her sophomore season, team offensive MVP, First Team All-Conference twice, and Player of the Game vs. CCDS and represented NC at the Powerade State Games...She was a four year varsity starter for the Mavericks and led the team in draw controls and ground balls...In 2019 vs. Charlotte Country Day, she was not only named the Player of the Game but also notched six of the team's 11 goals which led Marvin to its first win over CCDS in school history. 

Also, ran indoor and outdoor track.

Daughter of Aly and Ed Ferko...Has three siblings, one brother named Ryan and two sisters, Anna & Shannon...Father played baseball at the University of Maryland, uncle Jeff Mcaveney wrestled at Binghamton, and cousin Liam Mcaveney wrestled at RIT...Intended major is nursing.
