2017-18 AS A SOPHOMORE
INDOOR - Was the Highlanders' top jumper, competing in the high jump, long jump and triple jump... Got the season started off right, reaching season-bests in the high jump (1.68m) and the long jump (5.27m) at the Bast-Cregger Invitational... Earned bronze medals at the Big South Championships in the high jump and the triple jump (thanks to a PR of 11.49m) OUTDOOR - Cleared 1.64m at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational for her high jump season-best... Reached 10.74m in the triple jump at the Raleigh Relays to mark her season-best
2016-17 AS A FRESHMAN
INDOOR - Posted two top-six triple jump finishes in three meets, including sixth at Big South Championships with season-best 11.41m... Also placed fourth in event at Virginia Tech Challenge... Competed in long jump at four meets, posting season-best 5.12m at Virginia Tech Challenge... Recorded 1.45m in lone high jump competition OUTDOOR - Posted season-bests in both high jump and triple jump to place fourth and fifth, respectively at Big South Championships... Recorded 1.63m in high jump and 11.47m in triple... Also tied for third in high jump at Catamount Classic and was eighth in triple at VertKlasse Meeting... Had season-best 5.16m in long jump at Catamount Classic

Daughter of Pamela Walton… Has one brother (Deandre’)… Majoring in exercise, sport and health education and communications… Was also enrolled at Governor’s School of Southside Virginia while in high school and received associate’s degree in science… Received academic jacket for maintaining GPA over 3.6 in high school and received Principal’s and Honor’s Awards… Also was two-time All-District in cross country and all-state basketball player.
